if its a puppy it might have polo which my puppy had and died from it.

did your pet have a rabies shot from the veterinarian? maybe the dog bite someone, and it seems he is acting up like he got rabies..otherwise, he is sick and he needs a vet to check him out. long time ago, my baby is sick like that and when we take him for his walk, he eat grass and that cure him of his ailment, but he was not drooling though..i've heard before that drooling is not a good sign.
You might need to reduce the amount of protein in the diet. Some dog foods are too rich and if your pal has a sensitive tummy, you can go to a brand that has less. I use Nutro brands to stay away from corn products. It does have corn gluten, but this is the oiliest and highest protein part of the corn. If you want to avoid corn all together you can choose a lamb and rice version.
