My dog has begun to chew on my clothing recently why is this? and how can I stop this behavior?

She is an adult poodle
Answers:
I don't really know why this behavior has come up. Are you gone more than you use to be or something, or is something else taking more of your attention than the dog? Sometimes this will occure to get attention, wheather it be good attention or bad.

Leave squirt bottles around the house, and when the dogs goes to do the things it isn't suppose to, squirt it in the face, and say in a firm voice, NO! After the scolding, never go back to the dog and love on it, this shows you are backing down. This will help control the dogs chewing.
he thinks you are a tramp! dress up more often
maybe its lonely spend more time with it.
It is just a phase in its life. when it gets older it will calm down and stop chewing . try to get it a bone or a chew toy. to make the bone last longer coat it w/peanut butter.
sounds as though ur dog is bored this is the main reason a dog chews spent time with him and play more often eith it and this should stop it
Your dog is probably doing it because your clothes have your scent on them, my dogs do the same thing.
First of all put your clothing in a place where she can not get to them. I have a lab that chewed on anything she could find when i was away. She eventually grew out of it. She is now 6 years old and only chews on her bones and anything she knows is hers. The bone idea is good and any type of toy you can get her interested in. They also make a bitter spray that you can spray on things she may take interest in.
