my dog has been sick twice today and has had upset stomach whats the best thing to do?

Answers:
Good advice been given already - I'd go with the chicken and rice - that always works for my dogs and IGNORE the comment from Sarah.

To Sarah - where do you get off being a nasty insensitive ** - reported !!
Take it the vets
Take him to the vet ASAP.
Best of luck!
I would keep an eye on him. Is there a chance your dog got into anything that might have made him sick? Does he eat table scraps? I'd make sure he has fresh water for the time being. How is his behavior? is he as active as he usually is? Is he acting lethargic?
u should ring the R.S.P.C.A help line and see what they say.
ring the vets asap. delaying ringing could be harmfull to your dog!
In the mean time scramble her up some eggs. VERY DRY! no salt no pepper no nothing. The eggs will help settle her stomach for now.
starve it for 24 hours completely except for water.if no good take it the vets. if ok after 24 hours, feed something light, like scrambled egg or rice and chicken, something very plain. hope pooch is ok
she could have cancer
You don't say how long this has been going on for but the usual thing to do with sick dogs is:

Do not feed your dog for 24 hours. If your dog is otherwise perky and seems normal this will probably sort the problem out.
Start feeding as normal the following day. If your dog then continues to vomit then take it to the vet straight away. Ask the vet if you should take a vomit sample.

However, if your dog has other symptoms like panting, whining, seems uncomfortable, green or bloody vomit, or anything else you know is not usual, take it to the vet asap. If your dog has been poisoned it will need treatment very soon or it will get worse very quickly.

Many dogs have bouts of vomiting or the runs now and then because they gobble up so much rubbish but if you are concerned because this seems unusual then taking your dog to the vet will put your mind at rest.
If it is a young dog I would withdraw any food for the next 24 hours and administer some Kaolin to help dry up residue and push any bacteria through the system.

It has probably eaten something nasty. If it is an older dog and/or there is blood in the vomit or the animal is in painb when the stomach is pushed then take it to the vets asap.
Take him to the vet today, Wednesday could be too late
He might have swallowed something and it has stuck in his intestines and blocked them.
dont feed ur dog
Watch him closely for about another 12 hours, you don't say how old he is? is he drinking? (if not take to the vet) If fully adult then yes another 12 hours will be ok if a pup I would get him to the vet especially if he is listless! don't offer any food in this time, if there is no more vomitting in this time offer him something like white cooked fish (watch out for bones)! or cooked chicken with rice, only a small amount though! Ultimately if it continues take him to the vet. It may just be someting he has eaten that he shouldn't or something a bit too rich.
maybe he's sick of you!!
Miss out on next meal(s) for 24hrs but make sure fresh water is available - then try a little chicken or fish with rice. If problem persists then its definitely time to go to the vet.
when our dogs got sick, vomiting 2 much, the vet said to go get 97% lean ground meat, cottage cheese, and rice. use 1 cup of each, equal amounts-depending on the size of the dog and how much they normally eat. u can get the meat at grocery store, ask if can't find the percentage of fat in it. 24 hour diet should fix it. everytime my little dog gets sick from people feeding him people food, i just mix this up and he is good to go. hope it works for u!
I can count on my dog to throw-up if he's eaten grass when he's been outside. Has he/she eaten anything strange lately?Changes in his/her dog food could create the vomitting. If he/she has eaten a portion of a toy, you may need to take him/her to the vet. The toy part could be lodged in his/her digestive system and causing the vomitting. If this has created a blockage that won't pass, he/she will need surgery. I assume that he/she is up to date on his/her shots. Because if he/she is not, many diseases that we vaccinate for can cause vomitting and/or diarehea. When in doubt, always, always take your pet to the vet!
feed him a can ok pumpkin. Serious, it helps calm down their belly.
Go to your local pet store and buy charcoal bones. The Charcoal in the bones is not harmful and it will absorb what ever is making your dog sick. It works like a charm!
WHEN MY DOG KEPT BEING SICK THE BEST THING TO HELP SETTLE THERE BELLY IS A SMALL BOWL OF CHICKEN OFF OF THE BONE TAKE IT ALL OFF THE BONE AND PUT IT IN THE BOWL WITH A SMALL PORTION OF RICE THAT SHOULD HELP
ring the vets asap or take your dog down to the vets that way they will see the dog.
he has probably just over ate
feed him chicken and rice if your going to feed him
other than that starve him and get to the vets ASAP.
more than likely eaten something he sholdnt of and got stuck in his system somewhere
withdraw it's food for 24 hours and let it drink water. Nothing else until either he stops being sick or you can get it to the vets
feed him chicken and rice dont listen to sarah she dosent know anything she probably flushed her own goldfish down the loo when really you should bury them
