My dog has been very aggressive lately why do you think?

You didn't give enough details for us to be of much help here..But, if a dog is suddenly aggressive, it if often a health issue..the first thing would be to have the dog's health checked to learn if pain or illness is the underlying cause..
If your dog is becoming aggressive to the family..a refresher course in basic obedience will usually do the job.as it puts the owner back in the driver's seat..and reminds the dog who is boss..
without better description of the problem, that is about all I can suggest..

I had a mixed-breed dog that became aggressive toward people every time my ex-wife was pregnant. She became very protective in a way that was unpleasant.

i think mabey it is hurt . is dog a girl or a boy if it is a girl it might be aggressive because she is preganet.

How old is your dog? What Breed? Male or Female? And has he or she been neutered or spayed? How much play time does the dog get? Chances could be that it's in season. You aren't supplying all that much information for me to go on but my first thought would have to be rabies. Some tings to look for (other than unnaturally aggressive behavior) are sensitivity to water, and foaming of the mouth. You should seek the help of a veterinarian if it exhibits these symptoms but it could be too late after these symptoms set in.
