Look closely at the food you're feeding her, if it doesn't have quality ingredients such chicken or lamb meal in the first four list ingredients, and if it has filler like corn or wheat, then she probably isn't getting the right nutrition needs for her body. Fish oil is very good to add to her food, I add tuna once a week and yogurt to my dogs food, and I feed them a high quality food, and bathe them every 3-4 weeks, as needed, but with good nutrition, their skin and coat don't need as much maintenance. The first sign of poor nutrition in an animal shows up in their skin %26 coat. and PLEASE don't use bacon grease, it is way to hard for a dog to digest
Yes, do not bath your dog so often, even every two weeks its to frequent. I would say once every 2.5 to 3 weeks. The dandruff will go if you do this. Also make sure your using doggie shampoo.
You can go to any pet store and purchase medicaded shampoo.
Sometimes this will do the trick. Also they sell a vitamin for
dogs coats called brewers yeast. When you bath her make sure
to rinse thouroughly, sometimes if shampoo is left it can cause
this. hope this helps
wash your dog with head %26 sholders (dandrif control) twice a week
dont give your dog a bath every two weeks, give your dog one every month or so and use a moisturizing shampoo that doesnt dry your dogs skin thats what i use. And if you want to keep your dog clean use a soft brush every other day
Put bacon grease in her food. Not a whole lot just a spoon full every day for a while. I don't know why it works but it does.
Make sure to check for fleas, but an oatmeal shampoo should help the itching and dryness
DOG SHAMPOO
My dog had that same problem. I gave her Omega 3 fatty acids pills and now she's much better. Also I use a special kind of sentitive skin dog shampoo called Allermyl by Verbac.
use head %26 shoulders
