yes she sounds like she is, remember to have her in a dim quiet room so she doesnt get stressed, and congrat. to you,,, if your not a responsable breeder or breeding her to better the breed then have her spayed cause there is so many unwanted and homeless dogs in this country im not trying to sound mean or anything but that is something for you to think about

If she's panting, get ready, you could have minutes or a couple hours. Get the whelping box ready, your aspirator for cleaning the mouths out, scissors in case Mom needs help with the umbilical cords. You will need a separate box (not cardboard) to move them to when she's done so you can change her bedding. Get her to the vet if anything seems wrong. If everything goes well, get her to the vet first thing in the morning. She'll need a thorough exam %26 so will the pups.
