my dog is an american bulldog she is tan with a white chest and a black face, is she considered a pit?

Answers:
American Bulldog and a Pit Bull are two different breeds. American Bulldogs do not have terrier mixed in the blood. The only common nitch is that both have Bulldog in the blood.
Here is the complete hisory of the breed> http://members.tripod.com/~gindoyr/histo.
If your dog is an American bulldog, then it is not a pit bull. They are different breeds.
Went to your 360, not a great pic but she looks like a pittie to me! Aren't they sweet?
they are two different breeds but alot of people try to pass off a pit as an american bulldog if the area they live in has a ban on pits..they can look similar because of color or the square shape of their heads..do you have papers on your dog?if so why would you question her breeding?also if you are going to own one you should do research on the breed.
