My dog ate an unknown toxin five days ago. He won't eat but keeps vomiting up a dark green liquid. What is it?

Five days ago he started vomitting and refusing food. The vet took blood test and his kidney and liver functions indicate he ingested a toxin. He has been drinking a lot and keeps vomiting a dark green watery consistancy. It is definately not grass. Anyone experienced similar symptoms with their dog and what was the outcome?
Answers:
If he's vomiting, he could dehydrate and die very quickly. If he's that sick, even if there is no antidote, he should be in a veterinary hospital so he can be kept on IV fluids/electrolytes. I once had a "lazy" vet, didn't like taking dogs home to overnight, didn't want to pay a tech to do night care, and I drove 40 miles to another vet. They go down fast, don't waste time. Good luck to you!
PLEASE TELL ME YOU TOOK HIM TO THE VET!!
What did your vet say for advice?

Honestly if all your vet said is that your dog ingested a toxin and left it at that then I don't think very highly of your vet.
Its bile, my dog did something similar a couple yrs ago and the vet put him on 2 different medications for it and it cleared up. Sorry I cant remember what they were. Get a new vet. This should have been treated long ago!
so what did your vet suggest? maybe you need to go to another vet?

why do you people play with your dog's lives? obviously your dog is very very sick. are you waiting for him to die?

get to a vet now!
GO TO THE VET! if he can't keep anything down he could die of dehydration among other things!
it probably something that you kaeep under your cupboard that he could possible gotten into keep going to the vet and look for the toxins that are anywhere he could have gotten them and call the 1800 numbers
Sounds like you need a new vet. Your dog needs to be admitted.
take it to the vet so it won't get worse.
UGGG, 5 days now. you need anew vet ASAP
WOW..u might want to take him back to the vet and see what they can do. My dogs have nvr vomited a dark green watery consistancy, but u can try to get his favorite foods and treats and try to get him to eat, or u can wait till it passes but i suggest u get ur dog to the vet again and see what they can do..and if they say nothing u tell them that their has to be something.and if that doesnt work go to an animal hospital, its like a vet's office, but they know what their doing a lot better..
i dont know my friends said probably the toxins but u should go to the vet to find out k bye oh good luck!!

If his stools are bright green, it would be rodent poison..If it is only the vomit, I really don't know, as several things cause them to vomit gall (dark green).that is just a symptom of liver involvement..
My dog did this one time. My vet told me to take away all food for 24 hours - the dog could still have water - just no food. This cleared it up for me.
Watch for blood in the vomit or stool %26 take them back to the vet if you see any blood.
