My dog doesnt like people of color..?

is it because of thier flesh tone or because generally that type of people fear dogs more and my dog senses it?

Answers:
Dogs are afraid of any thing or any body that is different.. A dog raised in a black neighborhood will act aggressive to white people..

Do this.Go to your room and put on a ridiculous outfit.a cowboy hat works..and then come in to the living room..Your dog will go ballistic! Dogs don't see facial expressions (such as smiling) and go by the appearance of the outline and color .A smile on a stranger could be interpreted as a teeth-showing snarl to a dog..They don't notice the friendliness of eyes, etc.
is that white ppl he hates, thats ok then
people teach things to their dogs nobodys born into this world being prejudice @$$hole.
Your imaginary dog is simply behaving the way you've invented him. :-) Read some good books to take your mind of things. I'm sure you could really be a good guy if you tried.
Your dog can't distinguish between colours of skin, they rely on smell and hearing, so don't talk rubbish. He is probably picking up and sensing how you react and that's what is affecting him.
Dogs only see a few colors. It probably has something to do with the individual people you are referring to.
A dog only see's in black and white so skin colours mean nothing to it.
i have never seen aracist dog before or does he just hate any color what is your color does she like people of your color?
Dogs are pack animals and to this point try to dominate or be submissive within that surrounding. If a person approaches them who is nervous of dogs then they dog will behave differently to one that dominates the dog.

This is there natural instinct, but this can be further subdued or enhanced depending on how you yourself train the dog.

If you allow it to be aggressive towards a person of a certain type, as its 'master' it will try to please and continue to be aggressive to that type of person.
You have to take control and show the dog that that behaviour will not be tolerated.

See if there are any professional training classes in your area with qualified trainers.
I THINK SOME DOGS ARENT PREDJUDICE AGAINST SKIN TONE BEING THAT THEY SEE IN BLACK AND WHITE. IT IS USUALLY BECAUSE OF A PERSONS BODY ODOR ,NOT THAT ONE RACE SMELLS MORE THAN ANOTHER BUT EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN DISTINCT SMELL WHICH MAY BE CLOSE TO OTHER PEOPLES WITHIN THEIR RACE ,DUE TO WHAT THEY EAT AND ETC. THIS SMELL JUST MIGHT BE FORIEGN TO YOUR DOG ENOUGH TO MAKE HIM UNEASY.
Dogs generally don't see that well. They happen to be master discriminators when it comes to sound and smell. It is proven that people of color smell different than whites, and they generally talk differently too. To a dog they don't look that different.

The good part is that you can teach your dog not to misbehave on simple "1+1= always 2" deduction type of things. All you have to do is reward wanted behavior and punish unwanted behavior. Pavlov was a master at those things and his dog became a celebrity in the circles of psychologists and psychology adepts.

Good luck with your dog.
if it was black.. because they were smelly?
Ok first off to all the people that say dogs only see in black and white this is not true. They see in colour but only a limited amount of colours.

As for the way your dog acts it is most likely picking up on peoples fears and trying to dominate itself over them. Also it could just be protecting you. I doubt it has anything to do with skin tone but it could also be to do with that your dog can't see these people properly so is taking an aggressive stance. Dogs eyesight is not as good as ours so what we may see clearly they may only see as a blur.

My first dog did not like people in uniforms. My current dog does not like council workers because of the flourescent jackets they wear. My current dog doesn't like people walking behind me. She always stops to look at them but she doesn't act this way with everyone.
He smells their fear or dislike of them ..
I had a pug that would not leave people alone who were afraid of dogs ..
My female now ..she was abused by a guy with a baseball cap and refuses to allow anyone with one close to her .as soon as the hat comes off she is fine

because of " protection" I would enroll him in a good dog training class .so he can protect you and not get himself or you killed in the wake .. its not all his fault if he bites someone the way he is now .. you owe it to you and him to temper that dislike .
A) dogs and cats are color blind. LITERALLY. So how would they know if someone is black white or purple.

B) I had a pitt bull, My grandmother had a poodle, and a lab and my brother raises guard dogs. Not to mention almost every other black person I know has dogs, so where you live that black folks is scared of dogs?

You just lookin for a reason to talk about us. Thats funny.
